Fredy Arteaga

Bio

Coach Arteaga graduated from La Puente HS in 1996 where he lettered in 3 years. He was named first-team All-CIF Southern Section his senior year and was selected to play in the 1996 California-Hawaii All-Start game.

Upon graduating, he enlisted in the military where he served for 9 years. As a Navy Corpsman, he completed two combat tours in Iraq with the US Marines. While in the military, he continued his football playing career in the Armed Forces Football League (AFFL) for 4 years from 1998-2002 as a defensive end. Coach Arteaga currently holds a BA in Sports Management and is working on his Masters in Sports Law. He has been an offensive line coach in the Trinity League for over eleven years. Coach Arteaga and his wife Desiree have three children, Janai, Noah and Jaxson.
