Geoff McArthur

Bio

We are excited to have Geoff McArthur, one of the top wide receivers in Cal Football history, as a member of our staff. A graduate of Palisades HS, McArthur played wide receiver and led the nation in yards with 1779, 91 receptions and 3o TD's! Coach McArthur is Cal’s all-time leader with 3,188 receiving yards, shares all-time lead in 100-yard receiving games (11) and is second with 202 career receptions. In 2004, he was on the Heisman pre-season watch list and was voted the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame’s College Male Athlete of the Year. McArthur continues to hold Cal’s season receiving yards mark with 1,504 in 2003. He holds Cal single-game record for most receptions (16) and is second in receiving yards (245), picking up both in the 2003 Big Game.

Coach McArthur earned his BA in Social Welfare from Cal Berkeley. He earned his Masters in Education from Lindenwood University. Coach McArthur is proud to have owned and operated an all-boys prep boarding school in Ontario, Canada prior to teaching in the Santa Monica area. Currently, he is the Director of Activities at St. John Bosco. Coach McArthur's hobbies include traveling, cooking and playing golf.
